The exact products shown [OR similar products from the same brand] have been repeatedly tested by Lead Safe Mama, LLC (using XRF technology) and have been consistently found to be Lead-free. In our opinion the companies featured on these pages have behaved ethically and responsibly when it comes to toxicant concerns and considerations in manufacturing.
Games Note: In general Lead Safe Mama doesn’t have a concern for Lead with any games manufactured by known reputable brands (Hasbro, Mattel, Pressman, Parker Brothers, etc.) While vintage games may have Leaded metal pieces, Leaded plastic pieces, Leaded glass marbles, Leaded vinyl components and even Leaded printed inks on paper and cardboard elements, new (recently manufactured) games have tested consistently Lead free. Below is a selection of games we have had in our home that our four sons enjoy. As you would with any purchase, please read the full product description (and product reviews) when you click through BEFORE making your purchase decision.
Disclaimer: As we are not manufacturing these products (just recommending products made by other companies based on our experience with and knowledge of these products) we have no control over potential changes that may impact the toxicant profile of a product or product-line. Good job. It is important to report on things without lead risks because it make us feel safer and builds credibility when reporting on those things that do present a risk.
