The exact products shown below [OR similar products from the same brand] have been repeatedly tested by Lead Safe Mama, LLC (using XRF technology) and have been consistently found to be Lead-free. In our opinion the companies featured on these pages have behaved ethically and responsibly when it comes to toxicant concerns and considerations in manufacturing.
Baby Feeding & Food Storage:
The products below have been expressly chosen because they do not have any decorations (logos or otherwise) that might be made of Leaded paint. They are also not made of ceramic that may have lead in the substrate or glaze. If you order one of these products and it comes with a painted design or logo that we have not tested (check the Lead Safe Mama blog for ones we have tested), please let us know so we can remove the selection from this page. As you would with any purchase, please read the full product description (and product reviews) when you click through BEFORE making your purchase decision.

Is it safe to assume that if you haven’t posted a specific fork or plate of that brand that the brand itself is safe ???

If it is made of the same materials and by the same brand – possibly yes, but not always. For example Lodge owns Finex. Finex pans have highly Lead-contaminated knobs, which Lodge do not. Lodge plain cast iron is Lead-free, but their enameled cast iron is not.
